| This is the Cougar 27 MTR boat that changed everything in 2002 when tested by Hot Boat Magazine in March and Performance Boat Magazine in May.

This boat is 27’3 long and 8’6 wide with a custom cougar triple axle color matched trailer.
Powered by 2 Merc Racing 300X outboards with 1.62:1 ratio this 1760 lb boat does a zero-fifteen second speed of 65 mph, comes to a plane in 3.7 seconds, 30-60 mph in 5.6 seconds, 40-70 mph in 7.5 seconds, with a as tested top speed of 98.7 mph at 6500 rpm. All test drivers as well as personal experience verify over 100 mph speeds on cooler drier conditions.
This is one of the last original Cougar Boats from the original builder in Salmon Arm BC Canada and it shows. From the balsa cored flooring with layers of fiberglass matting for strengthening to the finest finishing and installation in the industry still to this day, this boat is second to none.
