In stock at our Bensalem PA loction is a fresh water classic, 21' Starlite, outboard Close Deck, Cuddy, Checkmate with a 1990, 175 Mercury Black Max motor and a 21" Laser stainless prop.
This one owner boat comes with all the original brochures, manuals, cover that came with the boat when delivered in 1990.
This classic is in excellent condition for her age, the interior is very fresh for a 1989 boat, the stereo was replaced and she also comes with a 5" Hydraulic jack plate from CMC.
Her gel coat is a bit faded but with some buffing should come up strong.

| I have a 1987 21' Checkmate Starflite with a 200 Merc on it that i'm looking to sell. Boat is in good shape, solid The top and sides is all original gel and is decent shape and the bottom was just repainted and looks awesome. Interior is in nice shape.I recently put all new cleats on the boat. Also put new pole holders on the swim platforms, Installed a hot foot gas pedal which makes it much nicer to drive. The engine is a late eighties Mercury 200 Blackmax that runs absolutely beautiful and it has pushed the boat a little over 65 mph with two people light on fuel. We run a 24 chopper on it which will come with the boat, seems to be the best all around prop. The boat is on a 2009 trailer which was bought new by the previous owner and is still like brand new with little to no use. Tires are in good shape as well as wheel bearings.

| 1988 vintage checkmate 21' starflight with 1998 225 HP Mercury engine with power tilt. This boat has never been in salt water since I have owned which is the past 20 years. Last time boat was run was about 1 year ago.I would recommend having carbs cleaned out since sitting so long. At that time new water pump was put in motor was completely checked out. Boat is in great shape and needs only some TLC. Interior and hull are in great shape, galvanized single axle trailer with new tires, jack stand. Area under front deck is carpeted above and below in black and white with lighting. This was the first checkmate hull design to use the step in the hull design for a stable boat ride at higher speeds. Boat was originally listed for $9500 and just reduced due to hard times. Has to be picked up will not deliver and price is firm, so please do not ask.. Located in Cape Coral Florida. |

| Checkmates have always had a great reputation in the high performance boat world and this 25 footer is no exception. She has a nice compact cabin with a forward V-Berth - seating area, refrigerator, sink and porta-potti. Her cockpit has the expected stand-up wrap-around style helm positions and a nice stern seat and full-width stern sunpad. She is powered by a 1999 Mercruiser 350 MAG MPI 300 HP fresh-water cooled engine with a Bravo 1 drive and only 200 hours on the engine and drive. She is equipped with trim tabs, Captain's Call and a SS prop. Lots of new parts are included in the package:

Boat is located in Center Moriches, New York and is currently in the water. Boat is turn Key. Engine runs great. 50 mph top end, and cruise all day at 35 and only burn 14 gph. Does not include trailer. Cabin deck hatch has a broken hinge. Hull is faded but can be brought back to shine with compound and wax. NO BOTTOM PAINT. Hull bottom is black gelcoat. All seats are in great condition. Cabin is a little dated but in good condition. It also comes with a full boat cover. Boat is also for sale locally.

| 1988 21' "vintage" Checkmate starflight with 225 mercury. I believe that this was the first model to introduce the "step" in the hull design. This boat has only been in fresh water since new. The hard work has been done, with new interior & paint. The boat could still use some minor TLC to make it a 10. Boat has power tilt, the radio needs to be replaced or repaired. Trailer is a galvanized single axle trailer. I will put a set of tires on the trailer prior to a sale due to them being dryed out and cracking. Water pump had been replaced and compression checked prior to it being put away. Teleflex hydrolic steering in great shape which had also been serviced. Please only serious people need to respond. This boat really moves. The boat is a 1986 Starliner Checkmate 21 foot 8 inches in like new condition. Checkmate are hand made by the family owned company with racing in mind, so no boat is exactly the same and has a very good reputation in the racing community. (This boat is now classified as a classic by Hagerty.) They did not make very many of these that year so that helps hold it's value. Color is blue metallic. It has an open bow with side benches with storage and back bench with storage. Seats 8 and the seats are like new. Also has a new Kenwood stereo system. Boat includes hydraulics, up down and tilts, depth finder, bilge.
The 200 HP Mercury engine, is I think, a 1998. But it was bought brand new in the crate at seasons end in 2002 or later. Boat racer Randy Pearson was hired to bore the motor to 235 hp, install boyse reeds, new bearings, and a tuned exhaust installed all before the engine was in the water. This engine is like new with only has 40 to 45 hours on it. (So this is a great deal) It has a 4 blade stainless steel prop,
The boat, and motor have been stored indoors and winterized each year and on a boat lift during the season we used it. There is a snap cover for the hull, and canvas cover for the whole boat. The reason for selling is the boat is too big for the lake. The boat was part of the package when we bought the cabin and we prefer a pontoon. | This is a very rare boat. It was manufactured in 1977 and 1978 as an extended hull Trimate. This is an excellent ski boat seating six comfortably. This boat has been repowered with a 400 small block Chevy and Quicksilver Racing Alpha outdrive. It has more than enough power to pull up a slalom skier with five adults on board.
