| 1998 Checkmate Convincer 253 27'. will be sad to let her go but its time for a larger boat do to a larger family. Boat is in good condition and has been well taken care of, comes with a 454 Magnum 385 Hp Bravo 1 drive, Corsa thru hall exhaust with silent choice (sounds amazing !) trim taps, electric engine hatch, Corsa gas cap, drop down bolster seats, sleeps 2 adults in the v berth and 2 children in the mid with fill cushions, porta potty, garmin GPS , 24 degree dead rise is what makes this boat amazing in the rough water handles anything Lake Ontario can throw at it. Cruises at 38 mph at 3,400 rpm very easy on fuel, tops out at 60 mph 4,800 rpm comes with 3different tops. I have also kept a well documented log of all maintenance and upgrades over the years, complete engine rebuild and new ignition system less the 25 hrs (have receipts ) under warranty till July 2014. Interior redone last winter.
The hall design has been so successful with the Convincer Checkmate hasn't changed anything the 2012 looks identical to the 1998 comes with matching ropes and bumpers and the trailer is included. 2011 survey Boat has always been kept in indoor storage and is available for viewing any time in Kingston on Canada. | Well maintained 1993 Checkmate Convincer - 25 foot boat with spacious cabin. Sounds great and will get everyone attention when you start it up at the dock! 454 board 30 over, new bravo out drive (3 years ago), new gauges and steering wheel (2 years ago), JL Audio speakers throughout (amp and sub), head unit has XM radio installed, small working fridge and sink in cabin. Two roof ports and four side ports to allow for air flow when in the cabin - all have Velcro screens. Fan added for additional comfort when sleeping on the boat.
This boat is kept in a covered storage facility and is winterized - shrink wrapped every year.
Original interior, exterior seats - fabric are original and the sun deck was recovered 4 years ago. Zero rips - tears - stains on any of the fabric. Cover was reinforced and handles added to the back. Minor gel coat cracking and the red - black stripes were repainted 2 years ago. Custom graphics on the top of the boat and new - updated Checkmate lettering was added 2 years ago.
Trailer is a 2004 triple axel with one year old tires, disc brakes - everything works great!
