| This is a fine example of the Carver 356, with it's 13'3" beam, she very roomy and sports a wide open interior. The main salon has a very comfortable seating area and is open to the galley and dinette booth that makes into additional sleeping area. As you step on to the swim platform, right away you notice all the room the platform provides for water sports and the hot and cold fresh water wash down. Taking 3 steps up to the large aft deck ready to entertain or just lounge and enjoy the breezes and great views. From there you can go down the steps to the main salon or up 2 steps to the Fly bridge and the helm, where you will find lots of seating, bimini and again great views. Going down the steps to the main salon you will find a very inviting interior. A roomy seating area is open to the galley and the dinette so everyone can be in on the conversation. Moving forward down the steps to the galley and past the dinette you come to the first head and shower on the starboard side. Still moving past the head, there is the forward cabin with hanging locker and lots of storage.
Back in the main salon, move aft and down the steps to the spacious aft cabin with a queen bed, hanging lockers and more storage. There is also another head with a separate shower stall and seating area.

"Messin Around" is a low hour (698) boat, powered by twin 454 Crusaders which provide a cruising speed around 18 mph and will top out around 25 mph. The Carver 3607 features a dual purpose hull that was developed in response to the fuel crunch of the late '70's that allows the boat at slow speeds to behave like a semi-displacement hull producing fabulous fuel economy while also allowing the boat to get up on plane and cruise comfortably in the high teens. This boat has ALWAYS been in FRESHWATER. Typical of our fastidious owner, the bottom has been stripped and barrier coated even though there were no issues. Four blade Nibral props were an upgrade over the standard three blades...which should provide smoother acceleration and a vibration free ride.
"Messin Around" is a two stateroom, two head boat. Step down into the spacious salon and prepare to be amazed. Large, opening windows highlight this area flooding the salon and galley areas with plenty of natural lighting. New carpeting, new sofa, new custom curtains...everything! All soft goods were new in '08. Newer three zone air conditioning and heat from Marine Air Systems was upgraded in appx. '06. This boat features a complete lower helm with electronics so that she can be run in comfort during inclement weather. The solid teak interior woodwork provides both warmth and a rich appearance that requires very little upkeep. There are three new flat screen TV's with DVD players, one in the salon, one in the master stateroom and one located in the forward stateroom. The galley features a beautiful teak parquet floor, large dinette that seats four (uphostered with beautiful new textured fabric), full size Norcold refrigerator with freezer, Princess three burner stove top w - oven, double stainless sinks, and enough storage areas to allow one to cruise or live aboard for a very long time. In fact, with the cost of waterfront property, this boat would make the most sense for anyone wanting a inexpensive waterfront condo...with the bonus of being able to relocate anytime.
The day head is forward of the galley and has dual entrances to allow for use from the forward stateroom as well. The forward stateroom features a large V-berth, updated Marine Air Systems (with its own control...unlike most 3607's), opening portlights w - screens, overhead hatch w - screen, Sylvania flatscreen TV - DVD, and a huge amount of storage areas. This area is also resplendent in beautiful teak woodwork.
The master stateroom is aft and features a centerline queen size pedestal bed, flanked by dual bureau's which house drawers and cabinet doors. A fold out vanity seat and a full size vanity with make up mirror are abaft the portside head. The head features a tub shower (unusual on a 36' boat), large sink and vanity, large mirror and a nice amount of storage make this head one that a person will actually use. There is an amazing amount of doors and drawers providing excellent storage for extended cruising or living aboard.
The aft deck features new aft deck carpeting, newer black canvas weather boards, and plenty of space for deck chairs and lounges. Two steps up to the bridge finds many different seating options, allowing for a large crowd on a nice sunny day. The bridge is protected by newer ('07) black bimini top and complete eisenglass enclosure. The bridge carpeting and seat vinyls are newer as well (07). The forward riding seating is hinged to access great storage and makes up into a sun lounge as well. A complete compliment of electronics provide most of the information the skipper would want to go cruising.
There is a fiberglass swim platform w - boarding ladder, Weaver Snap-Davits w - standoffs and a outboard motor bracket. The bow pulpit features a roller and bit along with newer anchor rode. | Starting on the bridge there is comfortable seating for five with a center mounted helm, port and starboard swivel companion seats with a bench seat aft. Along with the electronics there is an impressive layout of instruments with a compass, tilt steering, engine synchronizers, rudder angle indicator for convenience when docking, lit switches, a First Mate SOS system, Clarion CD controls and two storage lockers. The 360-degree view, the cool summer breezes and the pleasure of being surrounded by your friends while at the controls of PARTY OF FIVE is amazing.
Now aft to port and down the molded in-stairs is the cockpit. Features include boarding ladder, four storage lockers built into the transom, two shore power cables and a proper transom door. The transom coaming is wide enough to sit on. There is access to the generator and steering gear through the cockpit sole.
An impressive, curved sliding glass door leads from the aft cockpit into the salon. Plush carpeting and luxurious upholstery combine with high-gloss varnished cherry wood. To starboard is a double pullout couch, rolling ottoman with storage and a U-Line icemaker. Forward to starboard is the electrical panel which is very impressive as all breakers are clearly marked.
Hardwood flooring sets off the attractive and functional galley that includes a coffeemaker, refrigerator and freezer, Corian counter, two-burner stove and convection - microwave oven. Positive latching drawers and a pot-bin plus flip-out cutlery drawer join two provision lockers under the counter and a round, deep sink. Up a few steps and forward is the dinette, which will comfortably seat four.
When it's time to retire, the master is certain to want the forward cabin with a center line V-berth, TV and DVD system, two portholes, deck hatch and generous hanging lockers. Aft and under the dinette is the mid-ships cabin where your guests will enjoy either twin single berths or the converted full sized berth. DVD and Flat screen is provided for their enjoyment.
The head is impressive and bright with double doors, a glass bulkhead to the shower which makes it feel more spacious and vanity with storage.
Beautiful expansive Galley makes it easy to prepare meals and entertain guests! Great storage also! The Dinette is just forward of the Galley and raised. Dinette has (2)curved, bench seats which convert to a double berth.
