| 1984 Carver Classic Cruiser Riviera 28 Foot Nice Comfortable Boat. Easy to operate and much more than a day boat. This is a well-kept cruiser with a large forward cabin and an aft cabin. Outstanding ship to ship and ship to shore communications provided by two Standard Horizon GX1255S VHF Radios (wheel house and rear cabin), music in main cabin provided by a Pioneer Super Tuner IIID High Power 50 watts - channel AM - FM CD player with an additional AM - FM - CD radio in rear cabin. Getting to your destination and back to home port made easy by a Garmin GPS Map 182C with auto-tracking and route planning. It is also easy to stay safe in shallow water with the dash mounted Garmin Fish & Depth Finder. Main cabin galley has an AC - DC refrigerator, large sink, and microwave. Night travel is made easy with a remote controlled bow spot light and subdued deck lighting that gives the boat captain piece of mind for safe afterhours piloting. Boat is powered by two strong counter balanced, Crusader 220 HP V-8 engines. Both engines have new exhaust riser manifolds and a fresh tune up with new spark plugs, rotors, and caps. All 16 cylinders have been checked and have good compression. Engines are serviced routinely and all filters (oil and fuel) are changed annually. Both carburetors have been rebuilt and run great. Boat is clean inside and out .... and well maintained by owner. Outings are truly turn-key. Boat is in the water and ready for fun. | I have a wonderful Carver fly-bridge cruiser with a tri-axle aluminum trailer for sale. I only recently bought it, but my plans have changed and I am being posted overseas in March and I must pare down my possessions. This boat is in excellent shape with twin 220 crusaders which have just been certified by marine max of Stuart in writing to have great and equal compression. It planes out at around 25 mph on one or both engines and is very sparing on the fuel. The boat is very clean and the bottom was just painted and it was put in the water only last week. I love this boat and hate to sell it before I had a chance to use it, but work I must. The boat is fully loaded with depth, radar, big screen gps, a - c, heat, and stereo. It also has an electric head, shower and new fridg. It's a great pocket cruiser with appropriate wear for a 30 year old boat but great condition. It also has complete heavy canvas enclosure that is brand new that turns the whole boat into a camper - look at the pics. I am told, and I have reason to believe that this was a Kentucky boat till recently and has only had a few dozen hours in the salt. Email me via c-list and I will respond with more pics.. This spacious 28 deck length (32 L.O.A.) 11 10 beam cabin cruiser sleeps 6 in a 2 state room cabin and seats 6 up top in a large flybridge designed for socializing or sunbathing on a pop up sun bed. The aft cockpit is great for grilling, fishing, or just soaking up the sun and has a mount for a small outboard motor. The transom door gives easy access to the good sized swim platform which has dinghy davits accommodating up to 16 inflatable tubes. The Carver is powered by its original fresh water cooled twin 260 HP Crusader V8 V-Drive engines with about 700 hours on them. In the main cabin the settee is to port which folds down to a double berth. The cabin sole was refitted with varnished teak and holly plywood. There is a storage locker and electrical panel to starboard aft of a couch that folds down to another double berth. There is a 19 LCD HD TV mounted on the head wall connected to an amplified antenna. Forward to port is a good sized galley with electric - alcohol stove and microwave. The head is opposite to starboard with a separate shower stall. There is an 11 gallon hot water tank heated by the engines or shore power. The carver has a 40 gallon water tank and a 20 gallon holding tank with a new macerator pump. Forward is the V berth with a large locker to starboard. There are numerous storage compartments through out the boat. The salon, head and V berth are all cooled by a Marine Air air conditioner. There are two 30 amp shore power jacks (1 for air conditioner).This is the single station model driven from the flybridge only. The helm includes a Standard Horizon GPS chart plotter with FF520 fish finder - sounder, Standard horizon VHF radio, and Bennett trim tabs gets this luxurious cruiser up on plain quickly. There is an electric windlass with a Delta plow anchor and a Halon automatic fire extinguisher system in the engine compartment. Running gear is in good condition and PSS dripless packing systems have been installed on the shafts. There is a full Sunbrella and Eisenglass flybridge enclosure and a winter flybridge cover. The bottom was professionally soda blasted and 5 coats of Interlux epoxy barrier coat applied. Included in the sale is a set of shore power chords, life preservers, flairs and 2 fire extinguishers. Mercruiser with Bravo-III This year: New Prop, Water Pump, Oil Pan, Heads, Fuel Pump. New manifolds and risers in 2007. Kohler 5kw generator is about 4 years old and will run the air conditioning - heat along with everything else on the boat, Marine A - C, water heater, stove, fridge, VHF, stereo.There are two main batteries and a third one for the generator, have replaced all three within the last two years.The head is electric, there is an anchor windlass that works better sometimes than others... The flybridge will seat the captain and three others. There is a bimini for the flybridge and cockpit. The flybridge also has a full cover.
