| "Rair Ride" is a great example of a 1954 45 foot cruiser. She's about 50 foot over all, but back in the 50s they only measured what was wet. For reference the pictures show her at our 60 foot outside dock.
She has been in my care for the last 10 years. Always in fresh water on Lake Erie & always stored out of sun and weather in our boat house on our own custom full keel hoist. Hull and superstructure are of course mahogany and in excellent condition. Decks are teak and freshly protected with Sickens. Interior recently redone in 1950s style in shades of aqua and pink.
Mechanically she is powered by twin 327ci GM blocks (210 hp each) with Paragon trans. This makes her very easy to maintain and parts are a snap to come by. Uses no motor oil in an entire season. The port side trans does leak a bit, but it's very minor. The motors get her up on plane to cruise about 15 knots. Fuel consumption is roughly 29 gallons per hour at cruise. Fuel tankage is 300 gallons.
There are two heads or toilets, in the V-bunk & other is in the Master aft and is a vacu-flush unit. The main salon is air-conditioned with a window type unit exhausting to the fly bridge. There is an Kohler generator which powers all 110v nicely. Modern touches include a Garmin color map GPS unit and radar. There are also marine radio and a JVC stereo with two sets of Bose weatherproof speakers.
Main salon includes a full wet bar with sink and ice maker. Recovered hide-a-bed in salon sleeps two. Salon has custom silhouette blinds. Galley has a fridge, two burner stove, and microwave. Dinette is Formica, and cushions are recently recovered. The dinette will convert to sleep two if needed.
V-birth forward sleeps two stacked to starboard and includes sink and head. V-birth mattress cushions are recently recovered.
Stateroom aft includes two twin beds, cabinetry and full bath with shower. Aft en-suite head has shower and vacu-flush toilet.
I would not say the bilges are spotless but are very clean. She has three bilge pumps, forward middle and aft.
Includes all furnishings, electronics, full canvass, two spare props, 2 spare prop shafts, lines, etc.
Also included is a custom made 10 foot lap strake dingy of West System construction. This is hung on davits and has a 2.5 HP Nisan outboard. Just last year we stained, re-wested and varnished the dingy to match the red mahogany of the cruiser.
The only reason for selling is that we now live on the water full time and do not have a need any more for a vessel of this size. Wife wants something smaller. Kids want something faster. Guess I don't get what I want.
If you maintain this craft as we have it will not depreciate. Serious buyers can be put in direct contact with my marine carpenter who will vouch for hull condition. We also have quite a bit of documentation, paperwork and manuals which go with the boat.
She is located in Sandusky Bay Lake Erie, halfway between Cleveland and Toledo, Ohio. Personal inspections are encouraged. I would not hesitate to operate her anywhere on the Great Lakes or travel any distance.
Storage till spring or later is fine.

| 1988 Cruisers 4280 Express Bridge Cruiser is the ultimate all-around boating vessel. It is powered by two Caterpillar 3208 Diesel engines pushing out 375 Hp each. The Powerboat Guide calls this boat "a party barge." The vessel was designed by Jim Wynne who also designed the 36' Hatteras convertible. The unique design has 5-step staircases on either side of the cockpit, allowing for easy access to the fly-bridge and enjoyment for you and all of your guests to maneuver safely around. The upper deck is "flush" from the top of the steps all the way forward to the bow. Entrances to the bridge on both port and starboard sides access seating for a dozen people with a full protective enclosure. From the cockpit, sliding glass doors lead to the cabin. The boat can be operated single-handedly since access to the mid-ship cleat and the bow is only a few steps from the helm.
Other accommodations below from the stern deck you enter the cabin through sliding glass doors that open up to two steps down that lead into the cabin. Once inside, the cabin is on a single (carpeted) level, the entire length and width of the boat. This makes the living space seem much larger than a 42' boat would normally provide. There is a sleep sofa, teak Hi - Low table, and end table - dresser to starboard. To port, there is an entertainment center and the "U" shaped galley. Moving forward, the 10 cu. ft. refrigerator (with a freezer) is in the companionway. Next, to starboard is the head, featuring a separate stall shower, Raritan Atlantis electric marine toilet, vanity - sink and a cabinet above. To port is the mid-ship cabin with a hanging locker, drawer storage, and a sofa that converts into a double bed. In the bow, the owner's cabin holds a queen size island bed, vanity, hanging lockers, private head entrance, 2 overhead hatches, and personal AC controls.
The bridge enclosure has a full wrap around canvas and just had new Isinglass installed. Control everything from the bridge and enjoy it with your entire guest party with the extra seating this Cruisers 4280 has to offer.

| "LOONACY", our 1988 Viking 44 Motor Yacht is and has always been one of the most popular mid-sized motor yachts ever built. With a production run between 1982 and 1990, many of these yachts were built and they remain very popular today given their excellent performance, sea keeping abilities and fabulous layouts. Many improvements were made to the 44 over that of her predecessor the 43...more beam, lighter interiors, improved hull design, more fuel and water, etc. Most 43's were gas powered and all 44's are diesel powered. Designed for fast and comfortable cruising, the Viking 44 MY evolved over the years into a low profile boat with double hard-tops, more aggressive engine air intakes, reconfigured deckhouse and bridge layouts.
"LOONACY" is a double hard-top boat with all the bells and whistles. She now features updated major electronics such as the Raymarine E120 series Chart Plotter and HD Radar, a barrier coated bottom (no issues previously), numerous engine maintenance items (all documentation available and a port engine that has undergone a total rebuild (all documentation available). When the current owner bought the boat, a complete engine survey was performed with very positive results. Yearly engine maintenance items have all been performed.
ACCOMMODATIONS AND LAYOUT:
Stepping down into the salon, ones eye is drawn forward because of the open layout of the dinette and galley...providing the illusion that the boat is much larger than one might think. This has always been a hallmark of this boat. The salon area is resplendent in warm, rich teak woodwork. Large windows (opening w - screens) allow plenty of natural lighting in for a nice, open and airy feeling. Portside is a L-shaped sofa that converts to a queen sized double berth. There is a coffee table center in front of the sofa. Opposite to starb'd is a very elegant wet bar with storage areas. Moving forward towards the dinette, one will find additional drawers and doors providing excellent storage. The dinette is HUGE and provides seating for six and dinner for four. The dinette also converts to a double berth to sleep two in comfort. Plenty of storage areas both under and over the dinette provide additional storage areas. There is bottle storage beneath a hinged door area to port. The Viking galley is sizable and features raised panel doors and a beautiful teak parquet floor. A full size 120V refrigerator w - freezer is hidden behind teak paneled doors. Counter space is excellent and storage areas are abundant. There is an ice maker in the freezer as well. A three burner Princess electric stove top, microwave - convection oven, deep galley sink w - Instant Hot Water system, central vac, apartment size washer and dryer are located next to the refrigerator.
THE FORWARD STATEROOM:
The forward stateroom features the offset double bed with drawers and lockers underneath. To starb'd are lockers and a good sized cedar lined hanging locker. There is also anchor locker access thru two opening doors. The guest head is to portside and features an electric head, vanity and stall shower. There is storage under the vanity. The head area has two doors for access as a day head as well as private access from the forward stateroom.
THE MASTER STATEROOM:
The master stateroom is aft and features a center line queen bed with easy access to both sides. Storage areas are massive on both sides of the bed. There is plenty of Bureau space and shelves.
