| Owned this 19 ft Capri for 27 years did extensive repairs which are completely Documented with photos. This boat has a completely new hull made the way Chis Craft did it except it a 5200 hull really no soaking necessary. It is a 1955 serial number can be provided to prospective buyer. It has a 1957 dash someone installed. Interior excellent condition new in 1996. New water pump impeller new trans output seal decks in beautiful condition sides may need a new coat of varnish. Have won several awards one from Algonac Boat show where this boat was made in Algonac Michigan. Several from Geneva lake Boat show in Geneva Wis. I will show photos but these do no come with boat. For Sale Dads Project A 16 Yellowjacket Runabout The history of the Yellowjackets, designed by Richard Cole and consists of 5 layers of cold molded mahogany plywood.

My Dad bought the unfinished hull in 1956.
He installed the transom and spray rails and then because our home was destroyed by a tornado the boat sat in the garage of his new home until the fall of 1962 when I became the owner.
I contacted Brian Lawson, Classic Boat Works, who finished building the boat which was launched in the Hudson River near Albany in 2007, 52 years after the project was started.
In 2010 Dads Project won Best in Class for Outboards at the Lake Champlain ACBS show.
Since then the boat has seen occasional use and it is time for me to sell.
The boat comes with a 40hp Mercury outboard and a trailer.
