| This remains one of the finest built offshore Hi-Speed boats ever built. Boasting beautiful hand laid heavy roven construction with integrally wrapped 3 x 20 stringers from bow to stern. With 15 degrees of dead rise it lives up to its 114 mph hull speed. This hull is a 3 piece design: 1 piece deck, 1 piece hull and 1 piece interior insert. No wood at all in any components. This hull is 100% restored with every piece removed, re-sanded then re gel coated by a 25 year boat building veteran here in the northeast. No expense was spared to make it better than the day it was fully cured. Included with its original windshield and wings, which are in absolutely gorgeous shape. It also comes with it original instrument cluster and harness both which are in perfect condition. Fuel tank has been refitted and new in tubes are already welded in. Seats and chairs were redone and have never been sat in, but previous owner parked boat under a tree and sap seeped on to BRAND NEW seats causing them to get small stains. Power accessories and 350cid 4 bolt main blocks that are bored and stroked to 406cid and are ready for paint and assembly. All internal engine components listed are brand new in box, never assembled. Cranks are Scat 9000 Series cast steel. Silicon dampers by Bluecat. Pistons are J&E flat tops that are eye browed for valve clearance. Connecting rods are Bluecat 3D Plus Super Racing Rods that are balanced at 650 grams. Main bearings are Clevite 777s. Valve train is all Iskenderun with hydraulic roller lifters, high per valve springs, Comp cam roller rocker arms with 1.7 ratio, Chromalloy tubular push rods and Iskenderun Ultra rev kits. Chromalloy rotators and retainers. Cams with chrome timing covers. 2 brand new oil coolers by R-D that are 23x3. Merc off shore plates #81736, 2 brand new fresh water cooling systems , 4 like new air actuated Silent Choice exhaust tips with brand new in the box compressor. 2 brand new High Perf alum circulator pumps.
Transmission & Accessories 2 TRS Trans com assemblies in gem like state, 2 original TRS outdrives in excellent mechanical condition but in need of cosmetic work so they dont stand out against all the other pretty gear. 1 stainless steel set of props. Transmissions are Borg Warner Heavy Duty Velvet Drive with all gaskets units equipped with TRS tailstocks rated for 1000HP with modular flywheels wit cast iron bell housings that have been sand blasted . Both units go with the sale and its the buyers choice as to which to install. Stringer to stringer motor mount plates, high perf new water tubes and high volume plastic body water pumps and 2 new Quicksilver trim sender switch kits #805350A-2 are also included.
Needed to Complete Cylinder heads, carbs, intakes, ignition, exhaust manifolds & valves. Current investment is over $35,000 at this time. When boat is completed, value will be considerable and it will be extremely fast and agile.

| This is a rare Glastron Carlson CV-27 with twin Mercruiser 350's. If you have been looking for one of these boats it is one of the nicest ones I have seen in existence.
Here are some basics on the boat:
-330 hours total on the boat itself
-101 hours on starboard engine
-20 hours on port engine
-I recently upgraded to alpha Gen 1 lowers (one is brand new with 0 hours. Also one upper unit has been replaced with new)An original upper and lower will be included as spares and work fine but have leaky seals.
-hydraulic trim tabs (I just replaced the pump with brand new)
-original 23p cleaver props in excellent condition
-three batterys with maintainer, shore power cord, and cut off switches
-newer trailer that fits perfect with surge brakes (I just replaced the master cyl, shoes, brakes cyls, and hardware)

The boat is solid and was well taken care of. I'm sure it is the only blue flake CV-27 in existance. I believe it was completely redone at some point although very tastefully. The boat looks great, not perfect, but very presentable. Both engines run excellent. I replaced alot of parts that didn't necessarily need replacing just to make it dependable. This boat really moves. The boat is a 1986 Starliner Checkmate 21 foot 8 inches in like new condition. Checkmate are hand made by the family owned company with racing in mind, so no boat is exactly the same and has a very good reputation in the racing community. (This boat is now classified as a classic by Hagerty.) They did not make very many of these that year so that helps hold it's value. Color is blue metallic. It has an open bow with side benches with storage and back bench with storage. Seats 8 and the seats are like new. Also has a new Kenwood stereo system. Boat includes hydraulics, up down and tilts, depth finder, bilge.
The 200 HP Mercury engine, is I think, a 1998. But it was bought brand new in the crate at seasons end in 2002 or later. Boat racer Randy Pearson was hired to bore the motor to 235 hp, install boyse reeds, new bearings, and a tuned exhaust installed all before the engine was in the water. This engine is like new with only has 40 to 45 hours on it. (So this is a great deal) It has a 4 blade stainless steel prop,
The boat, and motor have been stored indoors and winterized each year and on a boat lift during the season we used it. There is a snap cover for the hull, and canvas cover for the whole boat. The reason for selling is the boat is too big for the lake. The boat was part of the package when we bought the cabin and we prefer a pontoon. | This boat is in excellent original condition. It has a full Sunbrella mooring cover and seperate engine cover. There is a hydraulic jack plate with approx. 8" of setback that needs new hydraulic cylinders. In 2012 the motor was serviced and received a new stator, lower unit was pressure tested and resealed and was looked over by a certified Mercury mechanic. There are 2 stainless props included, one with through the hub exhaust and one with over the hub exhaust. The Cougar trailer is rock solid but could use new paint, tires, wheels and suspension are great. Replacement cost today for the package would be approx. $40,000.
