| 2002 Baja Islander 232. Beautiful timeless colors, white - blue - orange - gray, don't settle for teal purple yellow like most boats in this category and don't buy a boat with 300, 400, 500 hours on it and have to pay for all the up keep, it's all done and much more here. Over $13,000 in updates and upgrades. The boat was originally 6.2l Mercruiser powered w - 320hp. The engine was replaced less than 100hrs ago with a fully built 383 stroker engine with all forged internals, fuel injected with 380hp. This boat has a large advantage over most, has big block power, small block weight and efficiency. The lower unit (bravo one) was fully replaced also less than 80 hours ago. New upper half with a fully rebuilt lower, new prop shaft ect. Last year had new gimbal ring, all new bellows, new trim lines, new mercathode, ect. The engine - drive coupler was also replaced. New fuel cooler, fuel pressure regulator, fuel pump, impeller, 2 stainless props included- 1 22 pitch and 1 21 pitch. The boat has awesome drop down bolster seats, pop up cleats, powered engine hatch lift, large u back seat, bow filler cushion, 2 large compartments, and storage under all seats. Stereo is amazing, upgraded 3 10" Sony aluminum subs, 2 amps- 1 sub amp, 1 for components, 6 sets of Clarion component speakers, Aux input wired into glove box, 12V added to glove box as well so you can charge while you play. 2 batteries with switch. Has remote stereo control at captain's seat. Over 10 life jackets included, 2 anchors, ropes, bumpers. . . everything you need to boat. I've owned the boat for 5 years. The actual boat has only 390 hrs. on it but not a single piece of the powertrain has over 100. Interior is 9 - 10 and is beautiful. Comes with a very nice dual axle trailer that pulls amazing (4 wheel disc brakes etc.). The boat has an awesome feature. . . can be used for entertaining, family fun, or speed. Fits 8 people, does almost 70mph! It has captains call exhaust and let me tell you, it sounds unbelievable. If you don't want the exhaust sound you can turn it off with the click of a switch. 550 HP PRO SUPER CHARGER = FAST FAST FAST!!
This boat is FAST!! There is no other way to put it. Our original owner tells us he purchased this Baja in August of 2003 and added a Pro Super Charger to the Mercruiser 496 Magnum engine increasing the power to 550 HP. Look at the photos and you'll see that this 24' 6" boat is almost flying at nearly 80 mph! The owner reports that he had her clocked at 78 mph, but that was with full fuel, passengers, and loaded with equipment for a weekend on the water. He also tells us that the boat "sips fuel" when cruising at only 50 mph! Now we realize that one man's sip is another man's gulp, but his point is that you don't have to run it at full throttle all of the time!
Let's sum it up; if you want a sharp looking, trailerable and very fast boat that won't break the bank and will make you very attractive to the opposite sex, you may have found it!

| This is a 2001 Baja Hammer, equipped with a 7.4L Mercury MerCruiser Magnum (454). The engine starts perfectly, and runs like a top. It has a K&N high performance air filter and a Through Hull Corsa exhaust, with captains call, which means the exhaust can be set through the pipes, or silently through the prop. (demonstrated in video links). The boat is in overall great shape, and the pictures do it no justice. It has had it's service done, and been well maintained and taken care of. It also has the hatch - engine cover that is operated by a hydraulic switch. It is also equipped with hydraulic trim tabs as well. It has a sony x-plode stereo with speakers (it has an aux jack for iPods etc..). The boat runs about 70mph when the trim tabs are adjusted correctly. The trailer is immaculate as well. It has all fresh boards and carpet, as well as tires. The boards and carpet are less than a month old. Asking 26k, but will consider serious offers. Don't low ball. No one likes spam. | Less than 200 hrs. on Merc. 496HO. Aftermarket SS headers, sounds better than factory. Estimated around 450HP. Bravo1 outdrive with 23p SS prop, and drive shower. Through hull, captains call exhaust, bildge pump, auto fire extinguishing system, optima battery, new full cover, cock pit snap on cover, snap in carpet, porta potty never used still in box, factory stereo. I'll throw in the life jackets, throwable, fire extinguisher, extra air horn, red rope, bumpers, trickle charger, and extra wind shield ($1500). Paint is in pretty good shape. I have the SST decals, they were never put on from the factory. I have attached a picture of the WORST AND ONLY SCRATCHES ON THE ENTIRE BOAT. Tandem axel trailer with new tires, spare and new hitch (2 5 - 16" bulldog). Enterior is flawless with exception to a very small part of the ceiling facbric sagging. No stains or tears in any of the vinal on the boat. This boat was freshwater until I got it, and was rigorously flushed every time I used it. The neighbors will vouche. Selling the boat to get a Can Am side by side. I just don't use it enough. This boat is very reasonably priced and you will not be disapointed when you see it. It has had no problems and cranks on the first turn every time. The boat will be freshly detailed, serviced and fluids topped off upon sale.
