550 HP PRO SUPER CHARGER = FAST FAST FAST!!
This boat is FAST!! There is no other way to put it. Our original owner tells us he purchased this Baja in August of 2003 and added a Pro Super Charger to the Mercruiser 496 Magnum engine increasing the power to 550 HP. Look at the photos and you'll see that this 24' 6" boat is almost flying at nearly 80 mph! The owner reports that he had her clocked at 78 mph, but that was with full fuel, passengers, and loaded with equipment for a weekend on the water. He also tells us that the boat "sips fuel" when cruising at only 50 mph! Now we realize that one man's sip is another man's gulp, but his point is that you don't have to run it at full throttle all of the time!
Let's sum it up; if you want a sharp looking, trailerable and very fast boat that won't break the bank and will make you very attractive to the opposite sex, you may have found it!
