I split it in half replaced the transom from the inside with 2 sections of 7 layer oak wrapped in heavy woven glass and composite resin quad braced it as from factory was only 2 braces,made a new fuel tank 85 gallons: new sender,replaced the wiring with all new; loomed the harnesses and painted the inside with interlux white.cabin upholstery is all 1 year old in gray tweed Porta-pot in cabin rod holders in cabin,lights in ceiling,shelf inside for storage on right side .The helm has new gauges with stainless plate for mounting,new switches and toggles all fused!!! plus dash control shut -off for power saftey ,custom fabricated shifter side binicale mount (polished) .New wiring from (factory) evinrude harness new shifter cables,installed new SEA STAR full hydraulic steering,custom made 1 - 2"aluminum transom brace across back and inside custom plates for added support ,I installed a evinrude 225 ocean pro outboard motor graphics match boat as if it was a factory package motor is EXtremely strong running this boat will literally fly across the water it runs 58 -68 mph on GPS acording to which prop is used idles well and trolls beautifully this boat has HUGE live-well in the floor large bait box on left side to rear of seat .Large storage area behind drivers seat .total wash down floor with rear scuppers teak lids for rear dual batteries with perko shut-off (2) large bildge pumps one front and one in the rear also front and rear are done as 2 seperate compartments for extra added saftey .Huge under floor storage area ! | im selling my 1988 baja 240 sport,(same as the mid 90's 24 outlaw hull) it is a VERY VERY clean boat. im selling because i bought a new boat. it has a 454 mag w - B&M blower,(525sc clone)about 4.5 lbs of boost. the motor is out of a 97. has a dean Nickerson carb, emi exhaust, new pulleys and belts, plugs & wires, always maintained. only docked over night a few times a season. it has a 26p 4 blade prop, spinning @ 4900-5000 rpms. runs a true consistant 68-70mph gps, i have seen 72 gps before but that was prime conditions and best run i had... hull has low hours, you can tell by looking it it, there is no hour meter but will not be disapointed when you see it in person. origional interior is in excelent shape. motor had 250 hrs when i put it in 3 seasons ago, and iv used it less then 50 hrs since. has a stero system with cd player, 2 10's, 2 amps and 4 6's. full moring cover and a cockpit cover. cuddy cabin is near mint condition. has a good oklahoma tandum trailer. sounds great and runs awsome. boat sat in storage for many years with a cracked block from improper winterizing when i found it . kept the hours off it... will consider trade in of your boat and cash or possible trades on other toys worst i can say is no, looking for a harley.... Amsoil utilized throughout engines and drives no expense has been spared in the building or maintaining these power plants. Engines feature Speed Pro forged pistons aluminum pistons, roller cam, Morel hydraulic lifters, Scorpion roller rockers, custom pushrods, and Revolution marine semi header aluminum exhaust manifolds (producing a most throaty tone to compliment the power produced). Heads are Chevy 780 series large oval-port, hardened exhaust seats, which are ported and polished. Manley Inconnel exhaust valves and extreme duty stainless steel intake valves. Edelbrock RPM Air-Gap intake manifolds, and custom built, Rochester Quadrajet marine carburetors. Bravo 1 outdrives have been reconditioned cosmetically and mechanically. Kiekhaefer Aeromotive 280-S trim tabs have also been completely refurbished. Stainless steel Hydromotive Quad-IV 24 pitch propellers provide effortless planing, and optimum performance. This boat exhibits excellent docking manners and remarkable economy when run at 35-40 MPH. Cockpit with original vinyl, is in mint condition and has been meticulously maintained. A custom made radar arch (not currently installed) is included with the boat along with tow ropes for tubing and water sking. The boat sits on a heavy duty trailer with surge brakes. The surge brakes, tries, lights and bunks have all been replaced a year ago. The has been operated on Lake Champlain, Lake George, and Lake Willoughby in VT. Located now in Warren, Ohio.
