"SOUTHERN JEWEL" is a exceptionally well equipped and meticulously maintained vessel. She features all right options and then some. Located in Michigan until the fall of 2005, she has only spent 5 years in Naples. Prior to her delivery to Naples, her bottom was stripped (dry to start with) and barrier coated with eight (yes,8) coats of Interlux InterProtect, followed by two coats of Interlux bottom paint. At the same time, the transom was epoxied as well and painted with Petit Vivid white to match the transom area. All hydraulic line holes for the TNT lift were sealed with epoxy. The boat was just hauled this September ('10) and two coats of Petit Ultima SR-60 were applied. The bottom is cleaned monthly by divers. The boat is professionally maintained to the highest standards.
Notable features include: Detroit Diesel DDEC 6V-92TA's with DDEC controls and upgraded software modules (displays information better & faster). Raymarine Satellite TV system with two Direct TV receivers. Sky Mate Internet Service (suscriber) for internet access anywhere as well as NOAA weather. Newer Raymarine E-120 plotter which overlays the R-41XX Radar. Custom Xantrex 30 amp, 24 volt Inverter system with separate battery bank and charging system...runs everything on the boat for 24 hours except the stove, air and washer - dryer. Engines charge the separate 24V battery bank while running. New 19" LCD TV for aft deck. Spare 4 blade props in engine room.
