I have not been able to afford the needed work since I had just bought a house the cost was out of my budget. This boat needs just a little engine work and its ready for the water. | PRICE REDUCED $2000 DOWN TO $12,500! I've got my eye on a bigger boat and need this gone. Honestly the nicest 240 Sport around. It's a '96 - 24' Baja 240 sport on a 2005 Venture tandem axle trailer for sale. Both titles are in hand. The boat has a 454 bbc 310 h.p. w - bravo 1. Just bought a brand new 7 piece gauge set(not installed yet 3-20-13). I had a new custom interior ($2000) installed in 2010. New aluminum wind screen ($1100) installed spring 2012. A brand new aluminum and epoxy coated 62 gallon gas tank ($1000) installed in 2009. It has stainless trim tabs and dual 4" above water exhaust that sounds great! I installed a brand new distributor, plugs, wires, cap, and a new ICM(Ignition Control Module $450) last summer. Oil has been changed before and after every summer with Amsoil synthetic oil. With a mirage 3 blade 23 pitch stainless prop it ran 63.2 mph and with a 22 pitch 4 blade bravo it runs about 57mph.JBL cd radio with a life time subscription to sirius w - 4 JBL 6.5 speakers. The hull is in great shape shines like new! The cuddy cabin sleeps 2 comfortably. I haven't reupholstered the cuddy cushions but can have them done to match cockpit vinyl for an extra $500. The trailer had new bearings and bearing buddies installed at the end of 2011. included are 2 anchors, 4 ropes, 2 bumpers, a cockpit cover, coast guard kit. Battery switch with 2 batteries. Fresh water boat with just over 400 hours.

Designed and built as a full keeled fishing hull, this LUHRS Alura 30 is definitely and offshore craft, capable of long cruises in open water with the power and stability to get you there and back in safety and comfort. The low hour (308) diesel generator enables you to operate your Air Conditioning (w - reverse cycle heat) unit while at sea which is a big plus on the hot summer days.
COCKPIT FEATURES: The ALURA'S cockpit area features two adjustable chairs, a stainless steel steering wheel and a nice selection of owner installed electronics. She's equipped with a bimini top with side and back curtains (with screening as well) for weather protection of the crew which all zips conveniently into the large bimini top. There is a molded-in self draining anchor stowage locker in the fore deck complete with anchor and line. The bow rail is stainless steel and mounted on the deck so as to allow ease of movement in safety, whether anchored or underway. The windshield is constructed of safety glass and both the port and starboard sides can be opened in varying adjustable positions.
CABIN FEATURES: The cabin area sports a 6' 4" headroom that allows you and your crew ease of movement and is ventilated with ports that come with screens and are easily adjustable for those cool evening breezes. Forward, the berthing area is complete with sleeping for two (2). The dinette is and adjustable pedestal table that converts to an additional 7 1 - 2' x 7' sleeping area. All cushions are fabric covered. The teak and holly sole is finished in polyureathane for low maintenance. All other teak is finished to a satin glow.
GALLEY: The galley comes complete with a microwave oven, an easy accessible icebox and a stainless steel sink. Stowage is plentiful in the galley and throughout the rest of the cabin area.
HEAD: There's and enclosed head, complete with shower, hot and cold pressurized water system, sink and mirror. Easily accessible stowage areas are also abundant in the head.
