An extra-tall person can lie flat on a bow chaise and have a foot to spare. By employing the filler cushions, three XTP’s can take naps (the freeboard is plenty high enough to sleep while underway). If you don’t like the driver’s musical taste, you can switch tunes with the stereo remote from the same reclined spot. Plus, the walkthrough is wide enough for an offensive tackle to make way to the bucket helm seat.
From the captain’s chair, it looks like you need walkie-talkies to contact people in the bow. Even the windshield is set 4-5 feet forward. The rosewood-trimmed dash is an original, with two gauges set back on each side of the wheel and four more recessed deep behind the tilt steering column.
The Escape 234 has a 25-quart cooler behind the driver’s seat, another small cooler on the portside console, yet another under the front bow cushion and a full refreshment station next to the lounge seat. Price does not include shipping/prep & reg/title fees.
