| Rare 28ft Aronow race hull. This is one of only a few 28ft race boats built by Don Aranow and designed by Wynn and Walters and was originally powered by keikhaeher the founder of Mercury Marine. A little more research will be needed to identify the exact livery for the boat but I do have build lists, emails and pics to help with the restoration and history. If you want the "Shelby Cobra" of boats, here it is. You will not find another (trust me I've looked). This is a real piece of offshore history and will not take much to make her shine once again. Gorgeous professional restoration: complete rebuild of hull, all coring replaced with Airex PXc (Penske board), additional stringer gusseting, and new Airex transom. Bottom faired and re-gelcoated. Hull sides re-gelcoated, decks re-gelcoated, painted, and clear coated.
Mechanicals include custom built 383 stroker, 437.8 hp at 6000 RPM, custom GIL exhaust, New Mercruiser Alpha One Super Speedmaster sterndrive, Bravo I 22 pitch Stainless prop.
New control box and cables, new steering with correct-for-1968 steering wheel, custom carbon fiber instrument panel with new Faria instruments, new wiring harness, correct Donzi factory upholstery, new stainless fuel tank with correct sight gauge in floor.
Custom single axle trailer, custom Sunbrella cover.
Eleven hours break-in time only, GPS at 74 MPH.

| 1974 Donzi X-18. All original gelcoat, still in very good conditions, aside from some minor cosmetic issues. Still looks great for its age. Floor was replaced and is strong. Been in the family for close to 30 years, I purchased it from my uncle roughly 10 years ago. Sat in storage for close to 10 years prior to my purchasing it. Newer seats - tunnel cover, thunderbold 5 ignition, aluminum imco thunderbolt exhaust manifolds, stainless imco (4)tips. 350 chevrolet corvet engine, and volvo 280 outdrive (rebuilt within the last 5 years). Tested engine a couple years ago, still had very good compression but unable to remember the exact numbers. Did high 50s in its hayday, probably around 50 now. Could probably hit the high 50s again if thats your thing, I just love to cruise. Spent the first few summers with some minor issues, but has been turn-key operating for several years now. Boat is located on Georgian Bay, Ontario Canada parked in Honey Harbor but spends most of its time at the Island. Sorry no trailer. Not in a huge hurry to sell, and not overly motivated, I love this boat, please no lowball offers. But looking to move on........ Asking $9,500. But willing to look at reasonable offers.
