| 1997 Baja Outlaw SST 24 w - a 28ft Dorsey Trailer.
The Good -
Brand new 502. Motor only has about 15 hours on it from this season. I have the receipt for the motor, showing it was bought June of this year. It runs great, this is a 70mph boat with a 26p Bravo prop. It would probably run 72-73 with a 25p, but I haven't had time to play with it. It's ran great all season, and been broken in right, using only 20w-50w mobil one full syn racing oil, and 93 octane fuel. Boat has thru hull exhaust that sounds GREAT. Trailer is in good shape, tires are fine, and brakes seem fine. Haven't had a single problem with the boat or trailer this season. I'd keep it, but I'd like to get out from under some bills, I'm sure everyone can understand that. The Cuddy is in great shape, no rips or tear in anything. All of the material looks basically new. | 2002 Baja Islander 232. Beautiful timeless colors, white - blue - orange - gray, don't settle for teal purple yellow like most boats in this category and don't buy a boat with 300, 400, 500 hours on it and have to pay for all the up keep, it's all done and much more here. Over $13,000 in updates and upgrades. The boat was originally 6.2l Mercruiser powered w - 320hp. The engine was replaced less than 100hrs ago with a fully built 383 stroker engine with all forged internals, fuel injected with 380hp. This boat has a large advantage over most, has big block power, small block weight and efficiency. The lower unit (bravo one) was fully replaced also less than 80 hours ago. New upper half with a fully rebuilt lower, new prop shaft ect. Last year had new gimbal ring, all new bellows, new trim lines, new mercathode, ect. The engine - drive coupler was also replaced. New fuel cooler, fuel pressure regulator, fuel pump, impeller, 2 stainless props included- 1 22 pitch and 1 21 pitch. The boat has awesome drop down bolster seats, pop up cleats, powered engine hatch lift, large u back seat, bow filler cushion, 2 large compartments, and storage under all seats. Stereo is amazing, upgraded 3 10" Sony aluminum subs, 2 amps- 1 sub amp, 1 for components, 6 sets of Clarion component speakers, Aux input wired into glove box, 12V added to glove box as well so you can charge while you play. 2 batteries with switch. Has remote stereo control at captain's seat. Over 10 life jackets included, 2 anchors, ropes, bumpers. . . everything you need to boat. I've owned the boat for 5 years. The actual boat has only 390 hrs. on it but not a single piece of the powertrain has over 100. Interior is 9 - 10 and is beautiful. Comes with a very nice dual axle trailer that pulls amazing (4 wheel disc brakes etc.). The boat has an awesome feature. . . can be used for entertaining, family fun, or speed. Fits 8 people, does almost 70mph! It has captains call exhaust and let me tell you, it sounds unbelievable. If you don't want the exhaust sound you can turn it off with the click of a switch. It has brand new spark plugs, wires (I change plugs every season, why not they are cheap and I like to take extra good care of it). The oil is fresh and always quicksilver performance only, lower unit oil is fresh. The boat is going to provide someone with lots of fun years. Just fully detailed, looks amazing. | I am selling my 1997 Baja 232 Islander, This has the 454 magnum Big Block and Bravo 1 out drive. this has a Stainless 4 blade prop with a Mc Gaurd prop lock. Motor was just tuned with new plugs, Wires, dist. cap, Rotor, New MSD Blaster coil and a new sea water pump. Motor has always had synthetic motor and drive oil. The oil was changed every 50 hours or the end of the season. The trailer is a 2005 roadmaster tandem axle with disc. brakes and features all L.E.D Lighting. The tires are new and all bearings have been packed.
