1984 38 ft Sea Star Trawler designed by Hartman Palmer. Wonderful layout makes this a comfortable and spacious boat. Large salon, aft cabin features a queen size bed, closet and built in draws, with in cabin head (electric head, sink and small tub with shower). Vberth has double twin beds and in cabin head (pump head, sink and can have a head held shower). Galley with large table and two benches that converts to a queen size bed. Stove, refrigerator, sink and good closet space complete this room.
The large aft deck is newly sealed teak with stairs to fly bridge. Great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner and of course to see sunrises and sunsets often with dolphins playing.
Salon and fly bridge have steering stations.
She has a marine a - c and heater, but I use two small electric heaters and have installed two household a - c units because it has been less expensive to run at the dock. Hull paint is excellent. I have attempted to sand and paint cab and fly bridge but time and weather has made it not possible for me to finish. She is due for a haul out. I have had her bottom cleaned every month.
She has two volvo penta engines. I did take her away from the dock and anchored her during the last hurricane.. Located in Johns Island South Carolina. |
