| This 1999 Crownline cuddy cabin - cruiser CR290 has a LOA of 31.17 Ft. and features two I - O engines which are Volvo Penta 5.0L GIs. It features two reliable Volvo SX I - O stern drives. This boat has a 10.33 Ft. beam and a very spacious cabin.
A combined 480 HP gets this cruiser up on top at nearly 40 MPH. Combined horsepower provides a strong takeoff yet easy on the gas! It will pull up skiers or tubers with ease. The Volvo SX stern drives have been completely serviced and have new seals, boots, etc. Engines have been fully maintained and they are in excellent condition.
This high freeboard Crownline has a lot to offer when it comes to cabin and cockpit accommodations. Built on a beamy modified V-hull of solid fiberglass construction, the mid-cabin floor plan is arranged with a canted forward berth coupled with an L-shaped dinette - lounge across from the galley and a spacious head compartment. Privacy curtains separate the sleeping areas from the main cabin, and four opening ports and three deck hatches allow for plenty of cabin ventilation.
The seat bottom of the double-wide helm seat flips up to create a leaning post, and a molded cockpit galley - wet bar faces the L-shaped lounge. A removable table is located to provide an eating area for the lounge. Additional features include built-in fender storage at the transom, a walk-thru windshield, removable rear bench seat and recessed anchor storage at the bow.
The entire hull is flawless and this boat does not leak.
Unlike many cruisers, mine has I - O stern drives which enables super steering and handling, This is due to fact that the stern drives provide the propulsion, turning, trimming and adjusting of this cruiser. Maneuvering is done with ease and fast response. Power trim tabs also enable you to adjust the ride to compensate for uneven loads.

| This is a nice Formula 29PC. It is powered by a pair of 454 (7.4) Mercs. Both engines received valve jobs this year. The list of new parts includes. Intakes, Edelbrock carbs, CDI ignitions, Distributors, coils, Aluminum exhaust manifolds and risers, Fuel pumps, recirc. pumps and sea water pumps. Both engines run great.
The boat features a 6.5KW generator which has proven to be plenty powerful. The gen has about 60 hours on the clock. Other features include AC/ Heat with digital controls, Micro wave, fridge, Stereo with CD. The canvas is in fail shape. The esighn glsaa was completely replaced this spring. (After the picture was taken). It is crystal clear.
The vacuflush head system was completely gone thru this fall including new seals and duck bills. The boat located in NW Ind. and is currently winterized and storage is paid till spring. National delivery is available.

This is a well built mid range boat and an incredible starter opportunity for someone looking to break into twin engines. Handles like a dream in slow speeds, 3-4 foot chop and cruises at 25mph all day at 3000rpm. I think she does about 32mph if pushed. Lots of power from the twin 270hp engines for a 30 foot boat. Remember, this is still the early 80s when boats were built with my fiberglass! Also, in the 80s when they said 30ft boat it met 33-34' from tip to tail. Twin 125 gallon gas tanks for long runs, 30 gallon fresh water tank and 15 gallon holding tank.

We have owned this boat for 5 years and have just loved it, but another boat came into our lives. We got a great deal on this boat as the previous owner was starting to ignore and neglect her and we have continued to refine, upgrade and make this boat a classic treasure that gets comments every where we go! This is an incredible starter boat for someone looking to get into twin engine cruising. We believe to be the third owner based on the previous owners comments. I think the boat has done all her time on Lake Erie and she is well known around "the islands".
