Accommodations
From the fly bridge you have 360 degree view, with a quick turn of the head you can see everything that is happening in the cockpit. There is seating for at least 10 up in the fly bridge. Coming down the ladder to the wide open cockpit you have a fish cooler forward under the ladder and forward to starboard side you have a portable live-well. The cockpit was recently finished in a non-slip Rhino like coating, very nice. Moving forward into the main salon, to starboard there is a large ice maker and a large drink cooler center and aft. To port there is a sofa that converts to sleeping quarters. Moving forward again and down two steps, to starboard is the full galley with large fridge - freezer, stove - oven, microwave and to port is the dinette that converts to sleeping quarters. Moving forward there are two doors, door on the left takes you to the full head with stand up shower, the door on the right takes you to the private stateroom that has it's own door to the head. There is hanging storage, and other various storage.

| 1999 Sea Ray Sundancer 400. This Sundancer model is very sought after due to it's two very roomy cabins, spacious interior and cockpit layout. Just compare this 1999 model's size to newer Sundancers and you will see). This boat actually measures 44' 4" LOA and has a 14' beam. The master cabin has windows on both sides to allow you to see out and a large hatch overhead to let in light and breeze. Also, there is also a vanity with three drawers, two hanging lockers, two drawers under the queen berth as well as a full length mirror. There are curtains for all of the side windows and the two main overhead hatches are equipped with Ocean Air retractable shades to control the light and the bugs The forward head is large with lots of storage, a separate shower and overhead hatch. The salon has an adjustable height cherry table, ample seating, lots of storage and a great galley that is easily accessed from the cockpit. The aft cabin is very large and has a U shaped couch that pulls out to a queen size berth, 3 shelves, 1 cabinet, it's own table, two side hatches, a separate head, shower, AC and can be closed off with it's solid cherry pocket doors (a great place for children). At the helm, you have everything within reach and great all-around visibility through the stainless steel framed windshield and aft through the enclosure. The fully adjustable helm seat has a flip up bolster and the passenger seat next to it seats three. In the cockpit, the entire enclosure was replaced 4 years ago and the aft end of the stainless steel roof framing was extended to better shade the cockpit. This improvement allows you to sit on the aft seats when the cockpit is enclosed, and you can also look out the large windows while seated there, (just try that on other Sundancers). There is also an extension sun awning that zips onto the aft canvas, extending over all of the aft seating. The anchor has 175 feet of all chain rode. The boat has all of the factory options, electronics, cushions, sunpads, icemaker, 6 disc Clarion stereo (with subwoofer and helm remote), central vacuum, blender, 7.6 generator, dual AC - heaters, coffee maker, 3 burner stove, large fridge, Vacu-flush heads, electric oil change pump, etc, etc etc... Sleeps 8 people comfortably in a forward V-berth, aft stateroom, convertible dinette and a convertible sectional in the salon. The V-berth is forward followed aft to starboard by the dinette and aft to port by the second head and then the galley area. Up a couple of steps to the salon area with a L-shaped sectional to port and then down to the master stateroom with a centerline queen bed. The master head is aft and to starboard. Both heads on the boat have separate stall showers. The galley has refrigerator/freezer, 3-burner electric stove with oven, stainless sink with upgraded Delta faucet, and microwave. Dinette easily seats six. The light oak interior and many windows give this Silverton a bright and open feel to its already spacious design. Purchaser will receive all furnishings including bedding, pillows, salon furniture, flat panel TV, DVD/VHS combo, dishes, and all small appliances. This boat is in great condition and is very clean. This model is well designed and has lots of storage. It is perfect for living or weekend getaways. We purchased it in 2006 from the original owners, who also took very good care of it. The only reason we decided to sell is because we had a baby soon after we bought it and expect another soon and haven't been able to use it as much as we would like.

The Silverton 39 Motor Yacht is better because of extensive research and modern technology.
Better Design: What sets the 39 Silverton apart from other yachts is not her layout. This is your basic aft-cabin motoryacht: forward berth, raised saloon - galley - dinette and spacious aft cabin. There interesting differences like the side walks, a Silverton signature that allows you to go from either side of the bridge to the bow without steps and never without a rail or handhold. But what really sets the 39 Silverton apart is construction and finish.
Better Engine-mounting system: Each gasoline powerplant is affixed to a pair of steel I-beams that cap the stringers and bolt to fore and aft bulkheads. Usually associated with high-end brands like Viking and costs considerably more than simple fabricated engine beds but virtually eliminates engine-alignment issues.
Better Interiors: Noticeable is the woodwork. Silverton has increased the usage of rich solid cherry woods, created solid cherry raised panel doors and a dining table top. Top-grade interior hardware has been installed, and Flexsteel sofa and settee are included. Finished in satin varnish and accented by a plush vinyl overhead and Ultraleather upholstery, the result is a warm and classy ambiance. The joinery is noticeably better as well, courtesy of CNC routers, and better-quality brass-and-chrome door hardware and Moen plumbing fixtures and countertops of Corian instead of molded fiberglass provide quality and home comfort.
Better Bridge: The bridge has good sight lines forward and to either side and you can even see the aft corner for backing into your slip. The console perfectly accommodates the Raymarine electronics and Autopilot. The triple helm seats are comfortable and feature flip-up bolsters for stand-up operation. And there are at least seven drink holders up there.
Better Aft Deck: Unlike many aft cabins, this one has no partition between the bridge and aft deck, so passengers on both levels wont feel isolated. To maximize cockpit deck space, the aft seat is recessed into the transom with drink holders, and has a forward port-side wetbar. There are six more drink holders here and two ways to board with a molded-in raised starboard step for fixed docks and a port-side stairway to the four-foot-deep swim platform for floating docks.
